Everyone needs a go to, simple yet cozy crumble recipe! This one is just perfect and you can substitute the apples for your favorite fruit!

Simple Apple Crumble

Makes 2 servings

Ingredients:

  • 2 chopped apples

  • 1-2 tablespoons coconut sugar

  • 1/4 cup coconut flour

  • 1/4 cup all purpose flour (I used a gluten free blend from Pamela’s Products, the coconut flour was also from them!)

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1 tablespoon softened coconut oil

  • 2 tablespoons coconut sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 tablespoon nondairy milk

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Oil a baking ramekin (or two depending on the size).

  2. Mix the apples and coconut sugar in the ramekin.

  3. In a bowl, mix all the crumble ingredients, sprinkle over top of the apples and lightly press it down.

  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the apples are soft and the crumble is golden, let cool a bit before eating and then enjoy!

I topped mine with coconut butter and chocolate chips but anything would be delicious or it is great as is (coconut yogurt or banana ice cream/any nondairy ice cream would be epic!!).
